Wear with sandals!
I love the open toe because you can wear these with sandals. I always wear long pants, though so not much of the stocking can even be seen. You can wear flip flop type or nicer sandals and your painted nails still show! It doesn't make me feel "frumpy",

Look like normal socks, but with such great support. No one would know they were for support. My legs stay energized.

Just what I need
These are perfect for me every day. Cool enough for summer, dressy or sporty black or white. Legs and ankles swelling is way down, especially when sitting for a couple hours or more. Sometimes they slip down after hours of walking, but its not a big deal, since I don't want over-the-calf for casual wear. These wash with everything else. Wish you had more colors.

I bought these because they were the only footless compression leggings that I could find anywhere. I'm 19 weeks along with my 3rd, and at only 13 weeks I started developing painful varicose veins, something I didn't experience with either of my first two babies. I have to say that once I'm wearing them, they do help the pain/discomfort from the varicose veins, which for me are primarily in my upper legs. However, I think they are very uncomfortable. The sizing chart told me to order an XL (I'm 5'10" and about 160lb), and they just seem way too long. I can't seem to get them on so that the pressure is evenly distributed. In other words, I'll get them on so they're even and comfortable from the knees down, but then there is way too much fabric from the knee up and I end up with the stockings overlapping in areas, or areas where they're bunched so that they're extra tight and then not so tight in others, which makes my legs look lumpy and weird. And no matter what, they always bunch behind my knees. And then there's the issue of the elastic band in the belly. It was SO tight, especially when I would sit down. I read in some of the other reviews that it's adjustable, which it seems like is should be since it's got button holes like the adjustable elastic in little boys' pants. But when I contacted a customer service rep about how to adjust it, I was told that it just "grows with your belly." I just pulled the whole thing out, which made them much more comfortable, but slightly annoying since now they're kind of loose at the top. Hopefully as my belly grows that won't bug me so much. ANYWAY, even with all these issues, I still wear them regularly and I might even buy another pair, just because I can't find any other footless options anywhere else!
