We haven't taken a trip since I ordered these. Plan to only use them on 8+ hour plane trips.

Having to stand and work on my feet for long hours I started to develop swollen feet and ankles. My doctor recommended I start using "travel socks". I found a pair and paid nearly 40 dollars for one pair. I researched further and found Discount Surgical Stockings which offered the same kind of socks but for a lot less. I ordered a 5 pack of "Flying Socks for Men DVT Prevention" which was a great decision. These socks have a better fit that the original ones I ordered from another company and have held up to daily use for weeks now and that's just using one pair and multiple washings. I've had no swelling since and the fit has continued to be perfect with no fatigue in the material or tear from toe nails. Can't recommend these enough. Try them first! Can't beat the price.

I gave up flying years ago, but spend hours behind the wheel of a car on frequent road trips. Recently, I noticed on long 8 and 10 hour trips, my ankles would swell. The doctor recommended this kind of stocking. They solved the problem and are so comfortable I wear them everyday. I was really pleasantly surprised because of the price. It's surprisingly reasonable when compared to most others that retail around $30.00 But they seem to be a high quality, comfortable and effective product that I would recommend to others.

I had trouble with my legs lately traveling frequently between Holland and the US. Since I bought two pair of DVT prevention socks my legs are very much better.

Just as in my previous review, I can't say enough good things about these socks. They fit very well, the support is great, and they wash really well. I'm planning on ordering two pairs a month until I get well stocked and replace all my other socks. Well worth the money spent.

For an everyday sock, whether you are travelling or not, this is the sock to get. Though they are a medium compression, they are very comfortable and give excellent support. They are long enough to truly reach
the knee for those of us that need support up that far. Price is excellent for what you get. I will be ordering more of these.

They don't look like the picture. However, they do look enough like "normal" khaki socks that I convinced my husband to wear them. He didn't like that they pulled at the little hairs on his leg, but they were fairly easy to get on, fit, stayed up, and prevented the DVT/PE on 36 hours of flight each way. His ankles did swell slightly by the end, but overall they worked well and he has even promised to wear them when we go flying again. Major score!
