They have always had prompt delivery and good quality. Prices sure have gone up the last couple of years. It would be nice if they could manufacture a stocking that had a more durable heel, as that is always the first thing that wears out, while the rest of the stocking is still good.

They are rugged, durable, comfortable, and wash well. Perhaps because they are made for men, they are too long for my leg.... I wish they came in a "short" size as well! But they work better than any other compression sock for outdoor wear, and constant use. I depend on them daily to live an active life. I've used them for 14 years now.

I had to pay $90 locally the for compresion socks that my leg required. Discount Surgical offered many choices of product. The identical pair from DSS cost only $61.71, total, without other charges.
Additionally, through my fault, I ordered a pair that was one size too small. Painfull. I asked for an
exchange from DSS, in hopes they were forgiving. They accepted the return, and sent me the correct pair immediately, and did not charge a restocking fee. (No pun intended.)
DSS provided an excellent product, fast delivery, low price and courtesy to a careless customer.. It was a pleasure to buy from DSS, and I urge others to depend on DSS as I do.

I have ordered these stockings for my father for a number of years and we have always had very good service out of the ordering process and wareability of the product. My Dad is 85 and wears these stockings everyday. They were ordered by his Doctor. I have had to return only one pair and that was because my Mom could not remember what size we had ordered in the past. The Lady that I talked to was very nice and helpful in the return process as well as being very efficient.

I have a condition where the skin on my calves was actually peeling. My doctor said it was because the skin was not getting enough blood circulation. So he prescribed 30 mm Hg firm compression stockings. I ordered some made by Jobst. The new stockings successfully compressed my skin, and the skin no longer peels off. I am very satisfied with the Jobst firm compression stockings.

I had used a different brand open toe stocking which made my feet hurt due to the hem around the foot area. I had purchased those from a local medical supply store on my doctors recommendation.
I decided to search the web and found Discount Surgical
Stockings. I found the items that I needed and ordered a pair and they were much more comfortable however I found I needed the tall mans size. I found them to be much more comfortable.
My only complaint is that being tall means that my feet are larger than a more normal size mans. Therefor I would suggest having the tall mans stockings made with a slightly longer foot to match the longer body.
I my humble opinion they would then be PERFECT.

Jobst 20-30 were hard to put on at first. I have since turned them inside out as far as the heel. I use the rubbber gloves and they fit to my lower legs comfortably. I decided to go with Jobst because the measurement they wanted fitted my body stature. I also use the skin adhesive that works 100% in keeping my socks in place below the knee.
