Measure the ankle circumference above the anklebone (narrowest part).
Measure thickest part of the calf.
Determine the length by measuring from the crease of the knee to bottom of the heel.

These Jobst Opaque Knee Highs are the best from all the types I've tried since my surgery years ago. They are especially good for the cooler weather here in New England, because they're warm without being overly heavy. And, an added plus, is they are so easy to put on. I highly recommend them to anyone!

These are my favorite knee-highs - very soft and comfortable. Like the wide band at the top for better comfort, but use the It Stays to keep the band from rolling down as the day progresses.
The only thing I'd prefer is for the foot part to be shorter. if I pulled them up as much as I wanted, the heel would be up behind my ankle - and my foot size is 10!

Once again, Jobst has changed their hosiery. I've been wearing this particular kind for well over 10 years and some of the changes have been good and some have not. The good changes are the most recent with putting a wider band at the top of the knee high which helps prevent rolling and "tourniquet" syndrome. Also, the new fabric is very soft and easy to use along with lengthening the foot portion of the knee high. Less than desirable hanges in the past included changing the fabric, new weave, a fit too short causing tightness against the toes (uncomfortable for daily wear), removal of "silicone" at the top of the band which necessitates the purchase of "It Stays" to hold the hosiery up on the leg. Just an added expense in addition to the prices hikes. I started out paying about $30 a pair...now they are $65.
I wouldn't be caught without these hose, but I have not always appreciated the changes Jobst has made.

Have worn these for as long as they have been on the market. They are much cooler for summer months, although they do not wear as well as the regular stockings. I think the price is too high considering the length of wear. I have found your prices on Jobst to be the most reasonable of any supplier I have found. Your service is excelent and I will order all my stockings from you in the future.
