I have varicose veins. I've had phlebitis with clots in the past. The stockings make my legs feel good. Thank you.

this is the first time I have had to wear compressed stocking due to blood clots in both legs. My husband had to put them on me and had a hard time getting them on as my legs are so sore and where they stop on my foot, my foot gets real sore. They do feel good when there on. My next problem was when I took them off that evening, I had a terrible time removing them, and the worst part was after I finally got them off, my legs itched sooooo bad I scratched them until they were really sore. I put lotion on and wow, that really brought the hurt and soreness out. Why am I itching so bad after removing them and why such a hard time getting them on and off? Why the hurt on feet where the cut out is for the toes? I paid to much for these stocking to be put back in the box to sit on a shelf. would appreciate any subjestions you can give me. Thank You

Bought these on the recommendation of vascular surgeon since I had a vein taken care of, have fit MUCH better than last pair with the stripes around the top. The Juzo has the dots and for some reason they stay up better. Also, the little paper "footie" they give you to help you put them on over your ankle, works great! Wish I had invented it!

I have not had a lot of expience with wearing compression stockings, but these thigh highs fit my leg and don't ride down. So far, they haven't "rolled." A friend recommended that I look for stockings with silicone "dots" for a top, not the "lines." I think she was right.

I've been wearing support hose for the past 2 years. Recently I tried to place an order for the hose I had been wearing only to find they were on back order. Boy that was my lucky day. A representative asked if I had ever tried the Juzo Soft and I said "NO". I was more than willing to try once I was told about them. That same week my hose were delivered and I LOVE THEM. These are without a doubt the best support hose I have ever put on. They are so comfortable to wear that you forget your wearing support hose. If you haven't tried these yet I can strongly endorse them. Try them you'll like them! God Bless!
Ask a Question
Questions that are on Your Mind
Q: Can you help me with sizing?
A: You can view the size chart here: size chart
You will need accurate measurements, so first learn how to measure.
Q: What is compression? What is the difference in compression?
A: You wear compression stockings to improve blood flow in your legs. Compression stockings gently squeeze your legs to move blood up your legs. This helps prevent leg swelling and, to a lesser extent, blood clots.
Q: What does mmHg mean?
A: mmhg stands for "millimeter of mercury", a way to measure pressure. The higher the number, the tighter the garment will squeeze and the more compression it provides.
Q: How can we wash the garments? And with which soap or detergent?
A: We recommend to hand wash in warm water and air dry. You can use mild soup of the washing solution that we provide such as the jobst jolastic, hosiery mate washing solution, sigvaris liquid washing solution etc. See our full washing instructions.
Q: What is the difference between open toe and close toe?
A: There is no therapeutic difference between open and closed toe socks. The choice is yours, whichever is more comfortable.
Q: What is opaque?
A: Opaque is a thicker material that provides great coverage and your skin will be far less visible. Usually worn in winter because of the thickness.
Q: What is sheer?
A: Sheer is a thinner, dressier material. Customer usually like these because they can use them as dress socks for work or church.
Q: Do I get compression at the toe area?
A: No. Compression begins at the ankle and gradually lessens as it goes up the leg. This reduces pooling in the legs and helps the veins return blood to the heart.
Q: Will a thicker material give me more support than the sheer material?
A: No. The compression provided is measured by mmHg and is the same no matter the material. The choice of material is up to you, whichever is more comfortable.
Q: If I get pantyhose will I get more compression than with a knee-hi?
A: No.
Q: Where are you? How's the weather?
A: We are located in Brooklyn, NY. Here is the current weather in our part of town. We hope the sun is shining by you!
