I have used these stocking for over 5 years now, with several re-orders, and firmly believe their use has extended my life as I have a serious problem of water retention in my legs. These stocking have kept the retention to a minimum. I have in the past tried other brands but each time returned to the Juzo's.They are easy to put on and comfortable to wear. I have large calves which they accomidate easily. I will not change again !

I was notified that none were in stock and were on order... Several days later, I was notified that the order was in transit... I received the order a day later and it was absolutely all good... Thanks...

When my water retention problems were discovered by my doctor he prescribed the use of compression stockings and when I filled the prescription at this website for the Juzo brand I was shocked by the expense but when I received them I was very pleased with the ease of putting them on and the results they produced. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income so I tried several other brands to try to save funds but when they arrived I found that they were very difficult to get on; and, one pair I could not get on as I have very large lower legs. They were even advertised as having larger lower leg room. As such I went back to the Juzo brand and have been very satisified with the anticipated results they have produced. As such I will not change to another brand unless absolutely necessary ! I would highly recommend them to those in need !!!

My doctor ordered me to wear these after having a blood clot found in my lower leg in 2001. I have worn them ever since. The hose work wonderful. They help to keep my legs from swelling and feel great. I have no plans to change what works.

I couldn't do with out my hose. The Juzo brand was prescribed for me some years ago and they allow me to go about my life without my lower leg swelling. I wear 30-40 compression every day. I couldn't do without them!

My 81 yo father wears these because of circulatory issues. He has tried other brands and finds Juzo to be the best. He refuses to wear any other brand.

After my retirement I developed many health problems and requirements. I have one that is very serious (retention of water in my lower legs) and tried several makes of compression stockings from several different companies. After using Google in my expanded search I found Discount Surgical Stockings and called them. The person who helped me was very helpful in arriving at a selection (Juzo # 3512 A-D) and also told me about the benifits of ordering more than one pair. What really made them great was the fact that they have a full calf (larger than most) which made the fit all the better. Others I have tried I could not even get on! These are comfortable to wear and do the job of reducing my leg size very well.

It is necessary for me to wear these stockings because of lymph edema. It's amazing how well they work to keep the swelling from my feet and ankles. Once you get used to it, they are easy to donn and doff.

I have been using this product since first recommended by my primary physician. I have been pleased with this product and purchasing through Discount Surgical Stockings has saved me money versus the usual medical outlets.

This purchase saved me $35 for the exact same item at the local brick and mortor store. I will be in need of replacement stockings in a few months and I am sure I will just go online and purchase the same item again.
Ask a Question
Questions that are on Your Mind
Q: Can you help me with sizing?
A: You can view the size chart here: size chart
You will need accurate measurements, so first learn how to measure.
Q: What is compression? What is the difference in compression?
A: You wear compression stockings to improve blood flow in your legs. Compression stockings gently squeeze your legs to move blood up your legs. This helps prevent leg swelling and, to a lesser extent, blood clots.
Q: What does mmHg mean?
A: mmhg stands for "millimeter of mercury", a way to measure pressure. The higher the number, the tighter the garment will squeeze and the more compression it provides.
Q: How can we wash the garments? And with which soap or detergent?
A: We recommend to hand wash in warm water and air dry. You can use mild soup of the washing solution that we provide such as the jobst jolastic, hosiery mate washing solution, sigvaris liquid washing solution etc. See our full washing instructions.
Q: What is the difference between open toe and close toe?
A: There is no therapeutic difference between open and closed toe socks. The choice is yours, whichever is more comfortable.
Q: What is opaque?
A: Opaque is a thicker material that provides great coverage and your skin will be far less visible. Usually worn in winter because of the thickness.
Q: What is sheer?
A: Sheer is a thinner, dressier material. Customer usually like these because they can use them as dress socks for work or church.
Q: Do I get compression at the toe area?
A: No. Compression begins at the ankle and gradually lessens as it goes up the leg. This reduces pooling in the legs and helps the veins return blood to the heart.
Q: Will a thicker material give me more support than the sheer material?
A: No. The compression provided is measured by mmHg and is the same no matter the material. The choice of material is up to you, whichever is more comfortable.
Q: If I get pantyhose will I get more compression than with a knee-hi?
A: No.
Q: Where are you? How's the weather?
A: We are located in Brooklyn, NY. Here is the current weather in our part of town. We hope the sun is shining by you!
