Knee Hi
Measure the ankle circumference above the anklebone (narrowest part).

Measure thickest part of the calf.

Determine the length by measuring from the crease of the knee to bottom of the heel.

For a closed toe please include your shoe size.

Half Thigh
Measure the ankle circumference above the anklebone (narrowest part).

Measure the circumference at mid-thigh.

Determine the length by measuring from the mid-thigh to the bottom of the heel.

Thigh Hi
Measure the ankle circumference above the anklebone (narrowest part).

Measure the thigh circumference at the groin around one leg.

Determine the length by measuring from under the buttocks to the bottom of the heel.

Hold up well, much easier to put on than the value brand. I wash them in the washer in a bag and they do fine.

I had four operations on my right leg for circulation problems and was given two choices lose the leg which sounded less than acceptable or use the stockings. At first I always wore long pants, in south Florida, because I didn't want folks seeing them but after a summer I said the hell with it's their problem not mine if they stare. I have used Sigvaris stocking now for about 20 Years and found them to be just what I need for circulation and comfort. They are a little more expensive than some brands but the expence is mute when you consider the alternative

Sigvaris offers the most fit options of any brand I have encountered. It is great to be able to purchase stockings that fit my short somewhat heavy legs and still do not bag at the ankles. The fabric is soft and semi-sheer. I will purchase only Sigvaris going forward.

As indicated, I have been wearing Sigvaris brand open toe, knee high surgical support stockings for 20 years for venous insufficiency. I had two episodes of deep vein thrombosis, one which progressed to pulmonary embolism 20 years ago, which brought me and the stockings together. Since, I have never had any episodes of blood clots, and the stockings wear like iron. I have never had a failure of the stockings in all these years. The compression holds good for many months, and I have never had a run or a snag in all that time. Over the years I have tried other brands but found the compression to be less dependable. There have been times when I couldn't find a supplier who carried them, but I persevered in my search, and found Discount Surgical whom I have been with ever since. I have been a faithful customer, and there is no reason for me to change now. I would be distressed if the company quit.

Due to several operations on my legs I will need support and compression for life and these offer the best combination of support and price. I've found that these work out the best for me. While I wish they were a little less expensive the support you get for the price you pay these are the best. I've tried the more expensive with the same support result and I've tried the less expensive but they just didn't feel right to me. My advice is if you will be wearing these long term, wait for a sale and buy more than one pair.
