Great socks, like the extra room in the toes. Best part is they are made in the USA

This purchase was a totally pleasant experience. The price was great. The quality of fit and finish is perfect. They work perfectly for me. The tension of the socks has been retained through countless wash cycles. The first two pair worked so well, that i bought six pair. My wife and my mother use them as well. This is a great product. If you need compression stockings these deserve a try. They also double as dress socks for me.

My husband was advised by our doctor to wear them. He has so much swelling! Well eight yrs and he still wasn't interested checking them out... I ordered 2 pairs on line... just to have him maybe try them. If he didn't like it... fine. He didn't want the discomfort that HE THOUGHT would come with them and he was sure they'd look geeky! But one morning after cleaning up he tried a pair on. He had work to do around the house and by the days end we both noticed his legs weren't near as swollen. Then next day his pain in his feet were less... and again another day of close to normal size ankles. I hadn't seen them look that good in years. I ordered 4 more pairs. Different colors to go with dark suit pants, white for his tennis shoes and tan for his other shoes. In a short time they've made such imporvements. When he doesn't wear them all the swelling comes right back. THANK YOU for being so available and for your quality! THANK YOU!

Nice and light with a very good feel. The large size is in fact large and fits well up to the top of the calf / bottom of the knee. Good toe room which should help with the holes that show up in some of the tighter socks. This is the nicest sock I have found for warm weather wear for folks that need light but firm support below the medium or heavy compression levels. No reason that this sock cannot be worn for dress or office work.

    Q & A

    Ask a Question
    1 question for this item
Q: The picture of these socks is incorrect. The picture shows Jobst socks instead of your Value Brand.
A: The pictures on the model A504 are not from Jobst they are from the Absolute Support Brand.
Questions that are on Your Mind
Q: Can you help me with sizing?
A: You can view the size chart here: size chart
You will need accurate measurements, so first learn how to measure.
Q: What is compression? What is the difference in compression?
A: You wear compression stockings to improve blood flow in your legs. Compression stockings gently squeeze your legs to move blood up your legs. This helps prevent leg swelling and, to a lesser extent, blood clots.
    Q: What does mmHg mean?
A: mmhg stands for "millimeter of mercury", a way to measure pressure. The higher the number, the tighter the garment will squeeze and the more compression it provides.
Q: How can we wash the garments? And with which soap or detergent?
A: We recommend to hand wash in warm water and air dry. You can use mild soup of the washing solution that we provide such as the jobst jolastic, hosiery mate washing solution, sigvaris liquid washing solution etc. See our full washing instructions.
Q: What is the difference between open toe and close toe?
A: There is no therapeutic difference between open and closed toe socks. The choice is yours, whichever is more comfortable.
    Q: What is opaque?
A: Opaque is a thicker material that provides great coverage and your skin will be far less visible. Usually worn in winter because of the thickness.
    Q: What is sheer?
A: Sheer is a thinner, dressier material. Customer usually like these because they can use them as dress socks for work or church.
Q: Do I get compression at the toe area?
A: No. Compression begins at the ankle and gradually lessens as it goes up the leg. This reduces pooling in the legs and helps the veins return blood to the heart.
Q: Will a thicker material give me more support than the sheer material?
A: No. The compression provided is measured by mmHg and is the same no matter the material. The choice of material is up to you, whichever is more comfortable.
Q: If I get pantyhose will I get more compression than with a knee-hi?
    A: No.
