soft in fabric just like my Juzo arm sleeve soft and comfy 0 people found this helpfulFingers crossed Assist/Move is the compression knee high which controls CVI swelling and fits my deformed foot without causing painful calluses. DSS and Juzo customer care depts. have supported my search over the years suggesting styles for sensitive. Walking and moving lessen swelling and assist CVI compression garments, but a painful foot decreases the desire to be active. My feet don't swell...the Juzo Move compression knee high has gotten me back to wearing compression stockings. I had simply quit wearing compression for my moderate CVI.
Similar to soft in fabric just a little heavier than my compression sleeve. No ribbing and still a casual look. No binding instep band to painfully compress bones. Non-binding toe doesn't squeeze my arthritic toes. Well fitted larger heel so no bunching up at ankle...just pull on up leg. Less compression in the foot area and larger ankle allow for easiest ever donning. Juzo gloves help smooth the compression fabric if needed, but this knee high pulls up smoothly without skin pain or wrinkling tender skin. It would be very difficult to poke a hole in the Juzo Move. Great odor and moisture control like other athletic compression socks. Machine wash and dry...dries fast on line overnight.
I still will need regular pedicures for callus care and foot doctor to debride callous tissue build up but less often because the fabric doesn't rub so less callous and pain. My deformed foot arthritic toes prefer a seamless box toe like Power Lite....top of toe seam rubs painfully when I take a nap. The silicone band seems a bit bulky...I will order my 2nd pair with just a regular band at the top. Juzo Move pulls up easily, but taking them off is a bit more difficult. The single improvement I suggest is using a "seamless" non-binding box toe for compression stocking wearers with sensitive feet.
