These Juzo "soft compression stockings" are necessary AND comfortable! Edema sets in if I don't wear them. My doctor says my chances of getting cellulitis (an infection in my legs) go up if I don't wear them. They fit fine!

I purchased these stockings for my close relative. Not only are the stockings a perfect fit for her (with the kind and expert help by Moshe!), but they are also very comfortable and she really enjoys wearing them! They are made of excellent material and will last a long time. We will definitely purchase more of these stockings! Thank you so much DSS and to Moshe!

Was happy with the fit. Wished the top band came with silicone trim like the 20-30 compression. Never have to adjust them like I do with the non-silicone. Even so I would still get the 15-20.

The main reason I use Juzo brand compression stockings, is because of the silicone band at the top of the stockings. This is the only brand (at least by Discount Surgical) that has a silicone band. This band does keep the stockings from falling down. The problem is that there is a $10.00 additional charge for the stockings. The price of the stockings is high enough and the discounts are not often enough and are not of a significant amount. Discount Surgical needs to discount Juzo more often as they do with other brands and should give free shipping without having to spend so much on each purchase.. I want the best for vascular problem, so I continue to buy JUZO.

I've used these hose from Juzo for several years. With the Juzo wash bag, it is easy to keep them clean. By rotating 7 sets, they seem to really last a long time. This website was easy to navigate!

I purchased these for my mom in an attempt to find a cheaper alternative to the local medical supply store. So I took a chance on these. They were about $10 cheaper, arrived quickly and my mom loves them. She mentions it every time I see her each week. They don't roll down or roll up and she says they are very comfortable. They were tough to get on the first time, but they stretched just enough so that she could put them on herself the next time. We will be ordering more soon in black. Highly recommended!

Guided by Discount stockings, found Juzo the best compression stocking over which to put on regular socks. They go on very easily.

Love these socks...had been wearing 20-30mmhg and I couldn't get them on, so I went to these and I love them...don't have to have help getting them on and they are very true to size...I wear a III, petiete, and I get them with the toes and silicone band and they never slide down or roll....and that's important to me...would recommend them to anyone, you want be dissaponted...

Q & A

Ask a Question
Questions that are on Your Mind
Q: Can you help me with sizing?
A: You can view the size chart here: size chart
You will need accurate measurements, so first learn how to measure.
Q: What is compression? What is the difference in compression?
A: You wear compression stockings to improve blood flow in your legs. Compression stockings gently squeeze your legs to move blood up your legs. This helps prevent leg swelling and, to a lesser extent, blood clots.
Q: What does mmHg mean?
A: mmhg stands for "millimeter of mercury", a way to measure pressure. The higher the number, the tighter the garment will squeeze and the more compression it provides.
Q: How can we wash the garments? And with which soap or detergent?
A: We recommend to hand wash in warm water and air dry. You can use mild soup of the washing solution that we provide such as the jobst jolastic, hosiery mate washing solution, sigvaris liquid washing solution etc. See our full washing instructions.
Q: What is the difference between open toe and close toe?
A: There is no therapeutic difference between open and closed toe socks. The choice is yours, whichever is more comfortable.
Q: What is opaque?
A: Opaque is a thicker material that provides great coverage and your skin will be far less visible. Usually worn in winter because of the thickness.
Q: What is sheer?
A: Sheer is a thinner, dressier material. Customer usually like these because they can use them as dress socks for work or church.
Q: Do I get compression at the toe area?
A: No. Compression begins at the ankle and gradually lessens as it goes up the leg. This reduces pooling in the legs and helps the veins return blood to the heart.
Q: Will a thicker material give me more support than the sheer material?
A: No. The compression provided is measured by mmHg and is the same no matter the material. The choice of material is up to you, whichever is more comfortable.
Q: If I get pantyhose will I get more compression than with a knee-hi?
A: No.
