My cancer surgery for melanoma damaged the lymphatic system in my left leg 10 years ago and I need to wear compression stockings everyday. I have bought other brands of compression stockings from other vendors over the years but I have never been as happy with my purchase as I am with my purchase from Discount Surgical Stockings. I am happy with the price and the promp delivery that met promised number of days even though I ordered online on New Years Day. The quality of my Juzo stocking is superior to other brands. The weight of the garment fabric impressed me. They are easy to put on and substantial enough to withstand daily wear and laundry. The compression is pitch perfect and comfortable throughout the day.

My lymphidemiologist (is that even a word) told me that I needed to wear the Juzo 3511's to control the lymph in my legs. So I do. I'll tell you -- they really control the swelling! I take them off and my legs look just like they did before the cancer episode! Skinny ankles, shapely calves and the best part is the awful pain of skin stretched so taut you'd think it was going to split! That was terrible! These Juzo socks do exactly what they say they will. Great price, too! I love that I can get them in some pretty jazzy colors!!!!!

Have been wearing Juzo Dynamic socks for over three years at the recommendation of therapist. Very satisfied and they last a long time if taken care of properly. Only negative is the price.

I originally got fitted by a professional and got these knee highs in the regular length. They were just too long and made creases in my ankles which was very annoying and caused a little swelling there. I measured myself and was just slightly over the petite length but decided to try them and they fit perfect. No creasing and were much more comfortable. The first pair I tried I got the narrower band and they did slip a little so the next pair I got the wider band and they stay in place through all activities. Would highly recommend these and if you are not aware you should use rubber gloves to put them on with ease. The old fashioned type for washing dishes not the disposables. You can use both hands on the calf to push up the stocking creases very easily with the gloves.

I've been wearing these stockings for over 20 years. They wear extremely well and are a comfortable fit. Love the silicone top that keeps them in place.

I have been buying these same Juzo stockings from Discount Surgical for several years and have been satisfied with both the product and service. I tried a less expensive brand, but it did not provide the support where I needed it most and were not comfortable.

Q & A

Ask a Question
1 question for this item
Q: What is a silicone border?
A: Silicone is a Grip that is sewn into the garment to keep it in place
Questions that are on Your Mind
Q: Can you help me with sizing?
A: You can view the size chart here: size chart
You will need accurate measurements, so first learn how to measure.
Q: What is compression? What is the difference in compression?
A: You wear compression stockings to improve blood flow in your legs. Compression stockings gently squeeze your legs to move blood up your legs. This helps prevent leg swelling and, to a lesser extent, blood clots.
Q: What does mmHg mean?
A: mmhg stands for "millimeter of mercury", a way to measure pressure. The higher the number, the tighter the garment will squeeze and the more compression it provides.
Q: How can we wash the garments? And with which soap or detergent?
A: We recommend to hand wash in warm water and air dry. You can use mild soup of the washing solution that we provide such as the jobst jolastic, hosiery mate washing solution, sigvaris liquid washing solution etc. See our full washing instructions.
Q: What is the difference between open toe and close toe?
A: There is no therapeutic difference between open and closed toe socks. The choice is yours, whichever is more comfortable.
Q: What is opaque?
A: Opaque is a thicker material that provides great coverage and your skin will be far less visible. Usually worn in winter because of the thickness.
Q: What is sheer?
A: Sheer is a thinner, dressier material. Customer usually like these because they can use them as dress socks for work or church.
Q: Do I get compression at the toe area?
A: No. Compression begins at the ankle and gradually lessens as it goes up the leg. This reduces pooling in the legs and helps the veins return blood to the heart.
Q: Will a thicker material give me more support than the sheer material?
A: No. The compression provided is measured by mmHg and is the same no matter the material. The choice of material is up to you, whichever is more comfortable.
Q: If I get pantyhose will I get more compression than with a knee-hi?
A: No.
