Without these stockings I couldn't be on my feet anymore than an hour or two daily due to bilateral lymphadema. But with these potent stockings on each leg, I can walk, run, hike, fly in planes, and mostly lead a normal life.

MY MOTHER IS VERY HAPPY WITH THE STOCKINGS I HAVE ORDERED FOR HER. I ORDERED THE WRONG ONES ONE TIME AND WE RETURNED THEM AND WERE IMMEDIATELY SENT THE CORRECT ONES. VERY FINE SERVICE

I have been wearing Juzos on my legs ever since my diagnosis of lymphadema 15 years ago. They have saved my life, allowing me to walk, hike, and generally pursue an active lifestyle. They enabled my lymphadema to plateau, by daily use. Try them, they're the best!

I have been wearing this model Garment for over 15 years, over the last couple years I have noticed a downgrade in quality, the material is not as heavy and the hip attachment material separated on 1 pair, I also have a couple pair only a year old that have developed tears, while garments 3 or 4 years old are still in good condition. I buy new Garments on a yearly basis and rotate them often.

I have been wearing Juzo brand for several years because they wear well, work & last a long time.

I bought these for lymphedema in my left leg. They fit well, with good compression. I can wear one thigh high on my left leg, and this is much more comfortable than having to wear pantyhose.

I have been buying the same Juzo Dynamic (Varin) Compression Stockings (Model 3512 AG) for over 7 years. I have permanent Lymphedema in my right leg from having all of my lymph nodes removed from my right groin due to Melanoma. I am almost 5'5" tall and weigh 150 lbs. I probably have 3 to 5 lbs. of fluid in my right leg. I always buy the 30-40 mmHg Open Toe Thigh-High version, with Silicon Border which prevents it from rolling down my leg. It is worth the extra cost to get the Silicone Border. The Size III Short length fits me perfectly. The Regular length is too long for my height. Juzo Stockings are very good quality. They rarely get runs in them like normal stockings and they last about one year. One minor problem I always have is that I eventually get a hole in the heel. However, when that happens, I cut the foot portion off the stocking and wear it with the bottom of the stocking wrapped around my heel. They are machine washable in hot water but I do not put them in the dryer (hang dry so they don't shrink). I tried the Closed Toe version once but it was less comfortable on my foot.

I have been buying hose from Discount Surgical Hose for many years - I have forgotten how many. I noticed that these hose are of the highest quality. There is no "cutting corners" to save a few cents here and there - these hose are the best and I would recommend them to anyone who needs them.

I have worn this style hosiery for the last 3 or 4 years and they hold up well when cared for as instructed. The fabric is very comfortable and the silicone beads hold them securely in place

Attractive stocking- not easy to put on, binds behind knee!

Questions that are on Your Mind
Q: Can you help me with sizing?
A: You can view the size chart here: size chart
You will need accurate measurements, so first learn how to measure.
Q: What is compression? What is the difference in compression?
A: You wear compression stockings to improve blood flow in your legs. Compression stockings gently squeeze your legs to move blood up your legs. This helps prevent leg swelling and, to a lesser extent, blood clots.
Q: What does mmHg mean?
A: mmhg stands for "millimeter of mercury", a way to measure pressure. The higher the number, the tighter the garment will squeeze and the more compression it provides.
Q: How can we wash the garments? And with which soap or detergent?
A: We recommend to hand wash in warm water and air dry. You can use mild soup of the washing solution that we provide such as the jobst jolastic, hosiery mate washing solution, sigvaris liquid washing solution etc. See our full washing instructions.
Q: What is the difference between open toe and close toe?
A: There is no therapeutic difference between open and closed toe socks. The choice is yours, whichever is more comfortable.
Q: What is opaque?
A: Opaque is a thicker material that provides great coverage and your skin will be far less visible. Usually worn in winter because of the thickness.
Q: What is sheer?
A: Sheer is a thinner, dressier material. Customer usually like these because they can use them as dress socks for work or church.
Q: Do I get compression at the toe area?
A: No. Compression begins at the ankle and gradually lessens as it goes up the leg. This reduces pooling in the legs and helps the veins return blood to the heart.
Q: Will a thicker material give me more support than the sheer material?
A: No. The compression provided is measured by mmHg and is the same no matter the material. The choice of material is up to you, whichever is more comfortable.
Q: If I get pantyhose will I get more compression than with a knee-hi?
A: No.
