I have had many other brands and I find Juzo the best fit ever. However be careful not to get one of their imorted ones from France. I am stuck with a beautiful pair that even at the largest size is so very small.

I must wear compression stockings daily when up and about per my doctor's instruction; I like to use this pair for dressy occasions.

I have purchased six pairs since I had vascular surgery on my left leg & have worn them daily while at work & when traveling, without any problems. They stay up where they’re supposed to, are comfortable & relatively easy to put on. The silicon band on the thigh highs actually last a long time given my daily use at work, all year round. I would not change brands at all.

These stockings are great. I have severe varicose veins in both legs and the thigh high stockings help relieve the pain they cause. I wear them every day all day and have no problem with them staying up where they belong. They are very comfortable. The cost of the same stockings thru a medical supply store was ridiculous - the prices at discount surgical allowed me to buy 3 pair for what 1 pair would have cost me. I am very satisfied with the product. They launder well, dry quickly and keep their shape. I would definitely recommend the stockings and the distributor.,

These stockings are wonderful! They are durable and long-lasting. We bought extra pairs to always have them available. My husband is a big guy and they fit him well and ease his pain. I know men don't want to wear "stockings" but health trumps ego every time!! We call them his sox. The open toe design allows him to wear them with sandals and the light color allows him to wear shorts if he wants.

I purchased the open toe thigh high and am very satisfied, easy to put on, great "stay up" power and easy removal. Quick drying is a plus.

These stockings are comfortable and easy to wear. I have not had any problems with them slipping down at all.

The Juzo stockings are wonderful, but I had small holes near the heal on one of them, where it joined the stocking. I had only worn the stocking once. I called Discount Surgical who I find impossible to work with. I received one excuse after another from customer service and it made sense except for them to get out of helping me. I will not try to find a new distributor to buy them from.

Questions that are on Your Mind
Q: Can you help me with sizing?
A: You can view the size chart here: size chart
You will need accurate measurements, so first learn how to measure.
Q: What is compression? What is the difference in compression?
A: You wear compression stockings to improve blood flow in your legs. Compression stockings gently squeeze your legs to move blood up your legs. This helps prevent leg swelling and, to a lesser extent, blood clots.
Q: What does mmHg mean?
A: mmhg stands for "millimeter of mercury", a way to measure pressure. The higher the number, the tighter the garment will squeeze and the more compression it provides.
Q: How can we wash the garments? And with which soap or detergent?
A: We recommend to hand wash in warm water and air dry. You can use mild soup of the washing solution that we provide such as the jobst jolastic, hosiery mate washing solution, sigvaris liquid washing solution etc. See our full washing instructions.
Q: What is the difference between open toe and close toe?
A: There is no therapeutic difference between open and closed toe socks. The choice is yours, whichever is more comfortable.
Q: What is opaque?
A: Opaque is a thicker material that provides great coverage and your skin will be far less visible. Usually worn in winter because of the thickness.
Q: What is sheer?
A: Sheer is a thinner, dressier material. Customer usually like these because they can use them as dress socks for work or church.
Q: Do I get compression at the toe area?
A: No. Compression begins at the ankle and gradually lessens as it goes up the leg. This reduces pooling in the legs and helps the veins return blood to the heart.
Q: Will a thicker material give me more support than the sheer material?
A: No. The compression provided is measured by mmHg and is the same no matter the material. The choice of material is up to you, whichever is more comfortable.
Q: If I get pantyhose will I get more compression than with a knee-hi?
A: No.
