I love the Mediven compression stockings because of the Petite calf length. They fit me perfectly. I just wish Discount Surgical Stockings could get them to me quicker.

They fit well, like the roomier toe area, they are a little bit of a struggle to put on but once on they are very comfortable and stay up on my calf.

Kimberly Hernandaz is an outstanding customer service representative. She was very helpful and professional. The stockings are nice and I will be ordering more.

Comfortable knee highs with support as good as the more expensive brands. They also wash well . You will not be disappointed.

These are acceptable in quality and are comfortable, but next time I would go ahead and order the Mediven Comfort instead. The support on these is very light, and the fit is just okay--they just reach below my knee cap with no extra stretch to give a secure feeling.

After trying many different brands I am finding that these Mediven stockings are pretty good. The fit isn't exact and I feel they should fit better as I followed the measurement chart exactly, They are comfortable to wear all day long, but they do tend to fall down just a bit. I cannot seem to find a brand with a perfect fit, but this brand is close! I wish they were just about an inch longer!

I like the open toe style I need petite but they are a bit to long in length, color great support great , but they have a tendency of slipping down and that causes a tightness so I must keep pulling them up, I would prefer the silicone top but they are too pricy.

The stockings are comfortable, but a little short for a man with a large calf. The staff was very patient and helpful in their efforts to find just the right stockings for me. We tried two others. The Sigvaris brand was not supportive enough and wasn't much longer. The Medi comfort was good but ran a little short, so we are now happy with the Medi assure. Thank you Moshe and staff for your patience and excellent service.

Q & A

Ask a Question
2 questions for this item
Q: My Dad had a pair of 19804 beige 20-30IV closed toe, I am looking to order him another pair do you still sell that one?
A: yes we sell the 19804. That is the Medi Plus Calf Knee High 20-30 Sku MPC20-30 then select Regular calf. Closed toe, standard length. IV, Standard top band and color beige. That would be the 19804.
Q: Is this sock made in the USA?
A: Yes they are made in USA.
Questions that are on Your Mind
Q: Can you help me with sizing?
A: You can view the size chart here: size chart
You will need accurate measurements, so first learn how to measure.
Q: What is compression? What is the difference in compression?
A: You wear compression stockings to improve blood flow in your legs. Compression stockings gently squeeze your legs to move blood up your legs. This helps prevent leg swelling and, to a lesser extent, blood clots.
Q: What does mmHg mean?
A: mmhg stands for "millimeter of mercury", a way to measure pressure. The higher the number, the tighter the garment will squeeze and the more compression it provides.
Q: How can we wash the garments? And with which soap or detergent?
A: We recommend to hand wash in warm water and air dry. You can use mild soup of the washing solution that we provide such as the jobst jolastic, hosiery mate washing solution, sigvaris liquid washing solution etc. See our full washing instructions.
Q: What is the difference between open toe and close toe?
A: There is no therapeutic difference between open and closed toe socks. The choice is yours, whichever is more comfortable.
Q: What is opaque?
A: Opaque is a thicker material that provides great coverage and your skin will be far less visible. Usually worn in winter because of the thickness.
Q: What is sheer?
A: Sheer is a thinner, dressier material. Customer usually like these because they can use them as dress socks for work or church.
Q: Do I get compression at the toe area?
A: No. Compression begins at the ankle and gradually lessens as it goes up the leg. This reduces pooling in the legs and helps the veins return blood to the heart.
Q: Will a thicker material give me more support than the sheer material?
A: No. The compression provided is measured by mmHg and is the same no matter the material. The choice of material is up to you, whichever is more comfortable.
Q: If I get pantyhose will I get more compression than with a knee-hi?
A: No.
