The different sizes for extra wide calf is just what I needed. THANK YOU!!!

Loved the petite length. My doctor only gave me the regular length and they were too long. I was so happy to find the petite size on your site.

I have worn Mediven Comfort Calf Knee High stockings in both 20-30 and 30-40 compression for approx. 6 years. I find that they live up to their name -- they are comfortable and provide needed compression for my legs. I am active -- gardening, cooking, and housework -- so I wear 20-30 for light work days and 30-40 for heavy work days. I need stockings with the wide calf and short length features, Mediven Comfort stockings provide these features. I find that my Mediven stockings wear and wear. I wash my stockings in a washing bag in my washer on the delicate cycle without problem. Wearing these stockings daily provides me with increased vigor and energy. I suggest you measure your legs accurately for correct fit and wash the stockings regularly to insure satisfaction with your purchase. A great product from a great company. Never had to return a pair of stockings for any type of manufacturing flaw or problem.

I've been wearing Medi Comfort Compression knee highs for 8 years. I tried 3 other brands and the fit was wrong, the fabric was scratchy and did not breathe. I finally found Medi comfort and I won't even try another brand. I live in the upper midwest and these stockings can handle any weather, especially hot humid summers. They are also durable and dry in a snap. They are pricey but you do get very high quality stockings. For me, that's important. I had a DVT 8 years ago so compression stockings are a must for me. I can do a day of walking in downtown Chicago in these stockings and my feet stay dry and my legs feel great at the end of the day. I don't mess around with my leg health so I highly recommend these stockings to anyone needing compression. Nancy

I ordered the petite for large calf. They fit better than any other hose I have ever had. I have edema in my left foot and these help a lot.

Always impressed with MEDI hosiery. These do not disappoint. A bit more sheer than other brands, and still deliver competant graduated pressure. Would purchase again.

These are the only knee highs that come in a petite length. Others are just too long and roll down my leg and turn into a tourniquet eventually. I would give a 5 star rating except the toe box has been made wider and for me particularly, I need more compression on my foot, too.

I have worn medi ven knee highcompression hose for years. They really help my legs. They are great and I couldn't do with out them. Discount Surgical Stockings are the best to buy from and they are cheaper also.

Easiest, most comfortable knee-high among at least 4 brands I have worn over the past 25 years. The colors are good and the band is easy to keep up. Even after the heel wears out ( I often walk around in stocking feet), the stockings have pretty good support that is good enough for "at home".

Good fit but the first pair already has a hole in it. Disappointed in that.

Q & A

Ask a Question
Questions that are on Your Mind
Q: Can you help me with sizing?
A: You can view the size chart here: size chart
You will need accurate measurements, so first learn how to measure.
Q: What is compression? What is the difference in compression?
A: You wear compression stockings to improve blood flow in your legs. Compression stockings gently squeeze your legs to move blood up your legs. This helps prevent leg swelling and, to a lesser extent, blood clots.
Q: What does mmHg mean?
A: mmhg stands for "millimeter of mercury", a way to measure pressure. The higher the number, the tighter the garment will squeeze and the more compression it provides.
Q: How can we wash the garments? And with which soap or detergent?
A: We recommend to hand wash in warm water and air dry. You can use mild soup of the washing solution that we provide such as the jobst jolastic, hosiery mate washing solution, sigvaris liquid washing solution etc. See our full washing instructions.
Q: What is the difference between open toe and close toe?
A: There is no therapeutic difference between open and closed toe socks. The choice is yours, whichever is more comfortable.
Q: What is opaque?
A: Opaque is a thicker material that provides great coverage and your skin will be far less visible. Usually worn in winter because of the thickness.
Q: What is sheer?
A: Sheer is a thinner, dressier material. Customer usually like these because they can use them as dress socks for work or church.
Q: Do I get compression at the toe area?
A: No. Compression begins at the ankle and gradually lessens as it goes up the leg. This reduces pooling in the legs and helps the veins return blood to the heart.
Q: Will a thicker material give me more support than the sheer material?
A: No. The compression provided is measured by mmHg and is the same no matter the material. The choice of material is up to you, whichever is more comfortable.
Q: If I get pantyhose will I get more compression than with a knee-hi?
A: No.
