I love these knee high support stockings. Two of my doctors recommended this brand. I have tried other brands and been disappointed in quality and fit. I also like their thigh high stockings and I actually prefer them to pantyhose. More comfortable and get a lot more wear out of each pair.

I started wearing compression stockings 36 years ago. I started off with sigvaris but as they became more expensive I tried many other cheaper ones, so recently I started buying Sigvaris again as the less expensive ones do not last as long. They come in great colors and look good, and I order a couple more before they wear out. This way I always have some new ones ready to wear.!!!

I have been wearing Sigvaris Knee High stockings for a few years and have been very pleased with them. I have suffered from varicose veins for many years and these stockings have really helped with the discomfort. I replace the stockings every 6 months and have never had a problem ordering them or receiving them very quickly.

Sigvaris support stockings give support, keep swelling down in the heat of summer. The enclosed toe and heel support promote the 6 month wear period. Highly recommend them.

Very easy to get on and nicely supportive. I bought these to wear after having total knee replacement when the TED stockings were impossible to get on and very uncomfortable to wear. My only complaint is the top elastic band could be a little looser, after wearing for a number of hours they do start to cut into your leg.

I have worn these before, and they really make my legs feel better, so I can make it through a hectic day. I've lost some weight and I may need a little tighter fit next time, but the service was great and they were delivered in a reasonable time.

I love these stockings! They are fairly easy to get on and fit better than many others I have tried. I take a size seven shoe and find many stockings are too long in the foot for me to be comfortable or to prevent rolling when I put my shoes on. I also love that they look like any other, regular knee-high and don't have a thick, "medical" appearance. I bought these on the advice of the customer service rep I spoke to when I called. I told her what I was looking for and what I didn't like about the stockings I already owned. She was spot on in her recommendation! I will definitely be ordering more in the future!

At the suggestion of my physician I ordered the Sigvaris Compression Hosiery. The delivery was prompt. The stockings fit perfectly and are a comfort and a big help to my legs.

Q & A

Ask a Question
Questions that are on Your Mind
Q: Can you help me with sizing?
A: You can view the size chart here: size chart
You will need accurate measurements, so first learn how to measure.
Q: What is compression? What is the difference in compression?
A: You wear compression stockings to improve blood flow in your legs. Compression stockings gently squeeze your legs to move blood up your legs. This helps prevent leg swelling and, to a lesser extent, blood clots.
Q: What does mmHg mean?
A: mmhg stands for "millimeter of mercury", a way to measure pressure. The higher the number, the tighter the garment will squeeze and the more compression it provides.
Q: How can we wash the garments? And with which soap or detergent?
A: We recommend to hand wash in warm water and air dry. You can use mild soup of the washing solution that we provide such as the jobst jolastic, hosiery mate washing solution, sigvaris liquid washing solution etc. See our full washing instructions.
Q: What is the difference between open toe and close toe?
A: There is no therapeutic difference between open and closed toe socks. The choice is yours, whichever is more comfortable.
Q: What is opaque?
A: Opaque is a thicker material that provides great coverage and your skin will be far less visible. Usually worn in winter because of the thickness.
Q: What is sheer?
A: Sheer is a thinner, dressier material. Customer usually like these because they can use them as dress socks for work or church.
Q: Do I get compression at the toe area?
A: No. Compression begins at the ankle and gradually lessens as it goes up the leg. This reduces pooling in the legs and helps the veins return blood to the heart.
Q: Will a thicker material give me more support than the sheer material?
A: No. The compression provided is measured by mmHg and is the same no matter the material. The choice of material is up to you, whichever is more comfortable.
Q: If I get pantyhose will I get more compression than with a knee-hi?
A: No.
